FUNDRAISING
This annual fundraising event is the joint initiative of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, the Wine Guild of the UK and Young Chef Young Waiter. With the wonderful generosity and support from all our friends in the Industry, over the years, we have raised well in excess of £1.5million. The International Restaurateurs’ Dinner is built on the foundations of the last 30 years and Roy Ackerman’s legacy this year we aim to raise more than ever before. The vital funds raised will be invested in education and training initiatives developed by the partner organisations and put back into our beloved industry.
The associations involved In the International Restaurateurs’ Dinner share the same ideals for maintaining the profile and esteem of our industry as it bounces back, whilst working continuously towards setting higher standards both front and back of house; we share in the philosophy that education and training is key to securing the future. The proceeds from the International Restaurateurs’ Dinner will be shared between these organisations and invested in our various educational programmes.
